Methodology back to top Human athletic performance training is a very complex adaptation process that is defined by many variables. racelab’s objective is to simplify the implementation of this process through the design of individualized training programs that bring the best out of each athlete while motivating and keeping the lowest possible injury rate. racelab has developed the current proprietary
training methodology not only by reading and researching most
of what has been written about human endurance training, but also
by working closely with and learning from: racelab continuously reviews the latest research on subjects related to human athletic performance and is establishing its own research infrastructure.
History back to top racelab has been in existence for more than eleven years. Throughout this time, we have helped thousands of runners, walkers, triathletes, and adventure racers of all athletic levels to meet their fitness and athletic performance goals, attaining an excellent reputation. Initially, racelab focused on advanced and elite athletes, but with time, it expanded its coverage to help beginner and intermediate runners and walkers, as well as triathletes, and adventure racers. Most recently racelab has recognized the need for our youth to become more physically active, launching racelab jr., which focuses on teaching our children and teens the benefits and enjoyment of endurance sports, all within a non-competitive and motivating environment.. racelab has trained teams of beginner marathoners participating in races as part of fund raising programs of organizations such as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Arthritis Foundation, Youth for Christ, UCP (United Cerebral Palsy), and City of Hope. It has been involved in the promotion, organization, and implementation of local race events. racelab has developed close relationships with great athletes and coaches that serve as partners, advisors and mentors: Triathlon Legend Mark Allen and Mexican world-class long distance runner and coach Rodolfo Gómez.
