racelab has motivated, coached, and trained thousands of runners, walkers, triathletes, and adventure racers of all ages and abilities to successfully and happily reach their fitness and athletic goals. Through the training process our members have also improved their self esteem, their physical appearance, and their outlook in life. For those that seek top athletic performance, racelab's training programs have guided many athletes to reach and exceed their athletic performance goals, such as improving their times, qualifying for the Boston Marathon or Ironman Hawaii, passing rigorous military, police, or fire-fighter fitness tests.

We are proud of the athletic achievements of our members, but equally, we are proud of the positive impact that racelab has had in their lives, the camaraderie, the team environment, and the friendships that have been built and nurtured within racelab.

Methodology                                                                                                      back to top

Human athletic performance training is a very complex adaptation process that is defined by many variables. racelab’s objective is to simplify the implementation of this process through the design of individualized training programs that bring the best out of each athlete while motivating and keeping the lowest possible injury rate.

racelab has developed the current proprietary training methodology not only by reading and researching most of what has been written about human endurance training, but also by working closely with and learning from:
- the thousands of athletes that have successfully trained with us
- physical therapists and other professionals
- world class high performance elite coaches such as Mark Allen and Rodolfo Gomez

racelab continuously reviews the latest research on subjects related to human athletic performance and is establishing its own research infrastructure.

History                                                                  back to top

racelab has been in existence for more than eleven years. Throughout this time, we have helped thousands of runners, walkers, triathletes, and adventure racers of all athletic levels to meet their fitness and athletic performance goals, attaining an excellent reputation. Initially, racelab focused on advanced and elite athletes, but with time, it expanded its coverage to help beginner and intermediate runners and walkers, as well as triathletes, and adventure racers. Most recently racelab has recognized the need for our youth to become more physically active, launching racelab jr., which focuses on teaching our children and teens the benefits and enjoyment of endurance sports, all within a non-competitive and motivating environment..

racelab has trained teams of beginner marathoners participating in races as part of fund raising programs of organizations such as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Arthritis Foundation, Youth for Christ, UCP (United Cerebral Palsy), and City of Hope. It has been involved in the promotion, organization, and implementation of local race events. racelab has developed close relationships with great athletes and coaches that serve as partners, advisors and mentors: Triathlon Legend Mark Allen and Mexican world-class long distance runner and coach Rodolfo Gómez.
