  racelab HIKING & TRAIL RUNNING

2007 racelab Hiking Adventures

The definition of an “adventure” states: a daring and hazardous undertaking, an unusual undertaking often-romantic experience.

Hiking is always an adventure; hiking is a daring and hazardous undertaking, and it is typically an unusual undertaking.  Every canyon experience is different and always romantic in it’s majesty and beauty.  I believe most of you have an adventurous spirit; otherwise you would enter a structured and predictable event, instead of stepping onto a trail. It is that knowing of the unknown that we seek; an attempt to live a dream, to succeed regardless of the challenges and dilemmas brought upon us.

It's not about aptitude, it's about attitude!

It is that adventurous attitude that drives us to serve others over and above ourselves.

It is that adventurous attitude that helps us deal with adversity and challenge in a positive and                 constructive manner.

It is that adventurous attitude that drives us to take that next step on the trail or in your life.

This hiking adventure is not just about the destination, it is about the journey.  Our journey is really about what you bring home; a sense of accomplishment, companionship and new friends, a life adventure that 99.999% of folks in the world don’t have the opportunity to achieve; this is something that can be shared for a lifetime.

“Sometimes you conquer the canyon, sometimes it conquers you”.

racelab's 2007 hiking and canyon adventure season is about to begin.  We take beginners to seasoned hikers.  We do 6-mile simple local hikes to 16-mile trekking adventures.  We equip you with training, strategy and communications.  We help you achieve new levels of fitness and hiking competency and safety.  And we all support each other and have fun along the way.

Thank you for allowing racelab to prepare you for this once in a lifetime adventure!

Each step is a new one!
