Training Program for Mountain Bikers

Novice to Advanced Riders

 

Individually designed training programs and training sessions to prepare you for the specific demands of mountain bike racing. Mountain bikers need a huge array of skills to be the best at their sport: smooth pedaling skills, top bike handling skills, speed off the start line and endurance to ride fast to the finish, a high level of core strength and leg power for the hills and the mechanical knowledge required to keep the bike running during a race.

 

Mountain Biking Program               

 

 

YEARLY TEAM MEMBERSHIP                                   - $60.00 / year

TRAINING PROGRAM                 

                                               

FULL INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING PACKAGE     - $120 /  4 weeks (12 weeks minimum enrollment )

·      CUSTOMIZED TRAINING SCHEDULE

-          Comprehensive initial interview               

-          Ongoing personal goal assessment                    

-          Individually designed training schedule every 4 weeks  - based on goals, needs, time availability, fitness level and experience

-          Schedule re-design and adjustments as needed and according to progress, needs and goals (every 4 weeks)           

-          Individualized strength training incorporated into training program             

-          Unlimited contact with coaches via e-mail or phone and during training sessions                

               

·      COACHED GROUP SESSIONS AND CLINICS

 

-          3 Technique & Drill Sessions/Classes + Workouts per week

-          Endurance sports specific Informational Clinics (Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Bike Maintenance, Race Strategy, etc.)
