PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

  First Time Marathoners!

Recommended for the beginner runner and walker for any distance. Great for first-time marathoners and individuals who want to start an exercise program, explore their running or walking ability, loose weight, meet people, or simply have fun!  Also ideal for athletes recovering or just maintaining a base training. This program is designed considering your fitness level, athletic experience and goals. 

 

           Intermediate to Advanced Runners

A scientific and individualized approach to help you reach your next level running. Recommended for the intermediate to advanced runner or triathlete who is determined to run faster. Form analysis and correction, customized schedule, nutrition guidance, strength and stretching programs, ongoing goal assessment, and if necessary, injury management. Heart rate based training and race strategies are determined through optional re-occurring LT/VO2max Lab Tests. 

 

The personal guidance, expertise, and motivation from your coach and the team will get you to reach your goals.

 

Program includes: 

- Comprehensive initial interview

- Initial personal and ongoing goal assessment

- Initial and ongoing technique evaluation & stride analysis

- Assistance in the selection of adequate footwear, apparel, and training aids

- Individually designed training schedule every 4 weeks based on goals, needs, 

   time availability, fitness level and experience

- Schedule re-design and adjustments as needed based on progress and needs

- Weekly Training log revision & progress tracking

- Heart Rate based training / Personal heart rate training zones + adjustments

- Unlimited contact with coaches via e-mail or phone and during training sessions

- Race pacing and nutritional strategy guidance

- Guidance on strength training and cross training

- Mental / Psychological support and guidance

- Weekly Group Track Session

- Weekend Group Run

Group Training & Team Environment

Though the focus on training is mostly on personal coaching, the training schedules and training sessions include a strong team / social element.

Group coached training sessions allow close coach observation and critique to optimize techniques and speed.
