ULTRA RUNNING (very long distance running)

An ultra running race or ultra marathon, is any race longer than the 26.2 miles (42K) of a standard marathon, and many of them are significantly longer (30 miles, 50K and longer). 

If, at any point in your life, you get that curious itch to try an ultra run and see what it's all about, know that you can do it—but also know you'll never be the same, in the best of ways.

For an event of this magnitude and distance, more is needed than just fitness and a few gels. Our extensive experience, high quality programs and personal attention to each of our athletes will take the guess work out of it for you. We’ll help you determine proper training and race nutrition, hydration, heart rates & intensity zones, race prep, mental focus, appropriate equipment…everything you need to know.

Racelab has trained hundreds of athletes to successfully complete ultra races,,, from 30 miles, 50K, to 100K +.

ULTRA RUN – Performance                       $160.00 / 4 wks

    

A comprehensive choice is the RUN – Performance Program. If you have a time or goal and want to reach the next level of your training or want to run your first Ultra Run, then this is the program for you! It consists of:

  • A fully customized training schedule (created every 4 weeks)

  • Heart rate based training (based on your V02 Max results)

  • Monthly log revisions

  • Schedule adjustments (as needed)

  • Unlimited contact with your coach (email & phone)

  • Ongoing goal assessment

  • Race strategy

  • Nutritional guidance

  • Weekly Speed Sessions (Track)

  • Group Runs

  • Informational Clinics/Meetings

 

 

ULTRA RUN – Excel                                      $210.00 / 4 wks

   

The most comprehensive option for Ultra Running training is the Excel Program. This program is intended for those athletes who have a very specific goal in mind, improve Personal Records or extended running distances.

  • A fully customized training schedule (created every 4 weeks)

  • Heart rate based training (based on your V02 Max results)

  • Monthly 1-on-1 Consultation with your coach

  • Weekly log revisions

  • Schedule adjustments (as needed)

  • Unlimited contact with your coach (email & phone)

  • Ongoing goal assessment

  • Race strategy

  • Nutritional guidance

  • Weekly Speed Sessions (Track)

RUN – Coached Speed Sessions (Track)   $65.00 /4 wks

   

Racelab’s Coached Running sessions focus on form, speed and technique. Coaches will evaluate and correct your stride to make you as efficient as possible while working on intervals and speed.

Training Schedule Only            $80.00 – $160.00 / 4 wks

(depending on your needs)

Perfect for those who live out of town, travel a lot or don’t wish to participate in Group or Speed sessions! The rate for this program varies on what level of coaching you desire and can include any of the above.
