Patti Killian - Triathlete
Patti has always considered herself a runner and a gym rat, so when a friend asked her to do a Sprint Triathlon in 2000, she thought, "I'm athletic....how hard could a sprint triathlon possibly be?". As she stood in knee deep water waiting for the start of that first race, she was completely terrified, and swore she would never, EVER, do another triathlon.
But, there is something about crossing a finish line that motivates her, so after she survived that first race, she signed up for another.
Fast forward 14 years, and countless triathlons later, and she's currently training for her fourth Ironman Triathlon.
"Finding Racelab when I moved to Arizona was a pivotal point in my triathlon training. The coaching I have received from Bettina has helped me train smarter and race more confidently. The friendships made through the Racelab family will be life long.

WORDS TO LIVE BY:
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle
Bettina wrote this at the bottom of one of my first training schedules. It has become somewhat of a mission statement for me, not only in how I want to train and race, but how I approach all aspects of my life.
