Ron Piña - Runner & Triathlete
Ron always ran as a means to stay in shape after participating in high school sports (football & wrestling). Later on he got hooked on competing in running events. He ran everything, from 5K’s to marathons. His new goal became qualifying for the Boston Marathon. After several marathons Ron began running with Racelab and qualfied for Boston with time to spare!
Racelab also introduced Ron to the wonderful world of Triathlons, and now he finds himself enjoying participating in both events to keeping a healthy body and mind.
"Bettina and the rest of the Racelab coaching staff have assisted in pushing my body to further heights. Some of these accomplishment include; decreasing my marathon times by over 20 minutes (now easily qualifying for the Boston Marathon), to finishing my first Ironman in strong fashion, and to recently finishing a 52 mile ultra-run in very harsh weather conditions."

PROUDEST ATHLETIC MOMENT
Until recently it was finishing my first Ironman, but now it’s finishing the Old Pueblo 52 mile ultra-marathon in March 2014 while having to endure the harsh weather conditions.
