Ryan Goold - Mountain Biker
Ryan grew up in the Midwest riding dirt bikes, but high school sports like soccer and basketball soon took priority and his time spent riding motorcycles quickly diminished. It wasn't until college when he met his future wife, Danielle, that his love for two wheels was re-ignited, however this time no engines were involved. Danielle was on the Mizzou cycling team and her and Ryan would go on road rides together on the weekends.
A few years after moving to Arizona Ryan found his true passion...riding in the dirt! Ryan jumped head first into mountain bike racing on a quad male relay at 12 hours of Papago in 2012 and continued to race in various events across the valley. After watching his wife complete her first Ironman in 2013, Ryan was inspired to push himself as well, and signed up for the Park City Point to Point, a 75 mile endurance mountain bike event with almost 12,000' of elevation gain. Ryan started training with Racelab's mountain bike coach Dave Marks to prepare for the new challenge and successfully finished the race in 2014. Nowadays you can find Ryan racing the MBAA series, participating in other endurance mountain bike events and cheering on the Racelab team with his big hat and duck call!
